"Make It A Tasty Bite Nite" Campaign to Boost Retail and Online Sales for Preferred Brands International

NEWTOWN, Conn., Aug. 17, 2001 - The Goodwick/Liazon Leverage Marketing Group was recently retained as agency-of-record for Tasty Bite, a division of Preferred Brands International of Old Greenwich, Conn. Tasty Bite is the leading brand of non-frozen, all-natural, heat-and-serve Indian entrees in the United States.

The "Make It A Tasty Bite Nite" campaign created by the agency is a combination of promotions and sales tools designed to help deepen penetration of the Tasty Bite name in the marketplace. In addition to directing and creating all printed materials, Leverage has been busy "e-nabling" the Tasty Bite website (www.tastybite.com) for online sales, and developing new radio advertisements and in-pack/in-store promotions including the "Flavor With A Kick" soccer ball offer debuting this Fall.

The agency is also supporting the introduction of new products, most recently Mumbai Pav Bhaji, a curried mashed potato dish that is popular in India. In the two days following the July launch of the Mumbai Pav Bhaji e-mail blast promotion, online sales increased by 365%.
