Prior to founding Goodwick Associates in 1981, a leading advertising agency specializing in Business-to-Business marketing communications, David worked at General Electric as an account manager for the Advertising and Sales Promotion Operation (A&SPO). There he was responsible for program development and implementation, budget planning and control for GE’s Automation Systems (Robotics), Optoelectronics, the Distribution Equipment Division, Wire and Cable Business Department, Instrument Products Operation, and GE Supply. Before his work at GE, David was the advertising manager for Johnson Outboards, where he directed award-winning sales promotion and advertising programs for 2,800 independent marine dealers and distributors worldwide.

At Brunswick Corporation, his group was responsible for new product entries – including the Mariner Outboard line – a joint venture between Brunswick and Yamaha. Requiring unique product and sales support programming and distribution development, his efforts supported the launch of an on-going, profit-making business for Mercury Marine.

David’s advertising agency affiliations include J. Walter Thompson (Chicago) and Gunness & Gunness Advertising, among others.

Before co-founding Liazon Marketing in 1994, an award-winning Sales Promotion agency, Mike was a Partner at AMA, Ltd., ranked among the nation’s five fastest growing sales promotion agencies. With diverse, hands-on and managerial level experience in all realms of advertising and marketing communications, Mike’s career got off to an early start when, at just 23, he was named the youngest account executive in McCann-Erickson Worldwide, to work with the Coca-Cola Co. In three short years, he was selected for McCann’s Executive Development Program in New York, and rose to Senior AE on accounts such as Sony and NBC.

Investigating the "client side," Mike then joined General Foods (Kraft), where he supervised promotion in the Maxwell House division. Later, Mike joined AMA, Ltd., where within five years he moved from Director of Client Services to Partner for his work on over 30 National and Regional Accounts, and more than 100 brands.

As a nationally recognized response-marketing organization, Liazon Marketing and Mike has been a recipient of several national awards, including the Addy, the Crain and the REGGIE.
